What is QReca!

QReca! is a tool for building mobile web applications. It provides a user friendly interface and the main characteristic is that it hides all technical details. Thus, it is appropriate for users with no IT skills. The basic feature of the platform is the presentation of information, that is combined with extra functionality. One can think of QReca! as an empty canvas, where a user can place various micro components (items) we provide, without having any IT knowledge. Those micro components are the extra functionalities the user wishes to add to his/her web application. The desired web app eventually is produced, by assembling those independent items into an integrated collection.

The application can be triggered via a QR Code or a NFC tag. Moreover, the user may change the information and the functionalities that are associated with an app without the need of re-establishing the access channel (e.g. reprinting the QR Code).

QReca! is provided in a subscription model, based on the resources you are using. However, there is a free trial period, that you can use the QReca! platform.
Absolutely not! There is no demand for programming skills. QReca! is built so as to permit the development of web applications in a few steps through a user friendly web based interface.

Demetris Gerogiannis

The Inventor

Demetris is passionate with Computer Science in Academic and entrepreneurial terms. He holds a degree of Computer Science, a MSc Diploma in the field of Technologies and Applications and now he is Phd Candidate in the field of Computer Vision. Along with Thomas and Kyriakos, he co-founded the QReca! team in 2012.

Kyriakos Athanasiou

The Social Crier

Kyriakos holds a degree in International Economic Relations and Development but entrepreneurship won him over. He is passionate about startups & innovation and he is a social media enthusiast. He is an open minded thinker and at the end of the day if you are searching for something he will find it. Along with Demetris and Thomas, he co-founded the QReca! team in 2012.

Thomas Gerogiannis

The Treasurer

Thomas has a wide background knowledge regarding Engineering issues as he holds degrees in Urban Spatial Regional Engineering and Civil Engineering. He is dedicated in sustainable development and he is passionate with innovative solutions. He is governed by commitment, ambition and entrepreneurial thinking. Along with Demetris and Kyriakos, he co-founded the QReca! team in 2012.

Alexandros Dallas

The Tech Guru

Alexandros is the tech guru of QReca!, and he is responsible for the development of the platform. He has worked in the private sector for years, and he has a great expertise in the development and maintainance of Informational Systems.

Harry Chrysanthopoulos

The Artist

Harry is a graphist and is responsible for the visual identity of QReca! He has a lot of experience in the marketing area and has worked in similar positions in the private sector.
